Paeonia lactiflora x lutea 'Bartzella'
Bartzella Itoh Peony
Itoh Paeonia with huge yellow. Itoh paeonias are a cross between herbaceous paeonia and tree paeonias. They were first crossed by Japanese gardener Toichi Itoh. In general, Itohs have taken the best from both of their parents. They are about 3' tall, extremely florifeous, have nice foliage and can bloom for almost a month. Fairly pricey but most think they are worth it. Ants on paeonias are common and totally harmless. Deer resistant.
